Mini Futsal Tournament

InsideOut Soccer is running a Futsal tournament for teams from under 8s - under 10s at the Chetwynde School sports hall on Saturday mornings.

What is Futsal?

Futsal is the FIFA and UEFA recognised version of 5-a-side with world and European championships for club and national teams.

Futsal is played indoors on a flat pitch with hockey sized goals and a size 4 ball with reduced bounce. The confined spaces and specialist ball really helps to develop young players close control and skills which they can then take into the 8v8 and 11v11 game.

Purpose of the Futsal Mini-league

InsideOut have been delivering Futsal coaching courses in Furness since 2006 and see the game as a great way to develop individual skill and close control of young players. The Mini-league gives young players the chance develop their skills further during the winter months when leagues often take a break due to the poor weather and conditions of pitches.
