InsideOut would welcome the chance to come along to your school and provide children from 3-16 with an opportunity to take part in an innovative and professional coaching experience.
Curriculum coaching - key stage 1 and 2
We provide session plans and instructions for games and drills to enable teachers and other staff to pick up ideas about how they might deliver activities in the future. Sessions can be arranged to take place either indoors or outdoors and for any age group or ability levels within the school.
Extended / afterschools courses
Our afterschool coaching courses provide children with an opportunity to take part in a healthy and fun activity at the end of the school day. Courses usually take place over a four or five week period with each session lasting for approximately one hour.
All children taking part will receive a certificate and free ticket for Barrow AFC. Prizes, trophies and medals can be won by children who demonstrate attributes linked to our right way to play initiative which recognises children who;
- Show a positive attitude
- Play as a team member
- Show sporting behaviour
Specially designed programmes
As well as providing curriculum and afterschool sessions we can also provide a range of specially designed programmes including;
Special events and competitions - this might include providing a themed sports day such as the Olympics or it’s a knockout or arranging a football tournament which raises funds for the school.
Issue based workshops – this might include providing classroom sessions around issues such as racism, bullying or health, fitness and diet.
Rocketshot fundraiser
InsideOut in partnership with Barrow AFC have recently developed the Rocketshot fundraiser which provides schools with a hassle free way to raise funds whilst providing children with a fun and healthy activity to take part in.
As part of the Rocketshot fundraiser one of our qualified, CRB checked coaches will visit your school with our inflatable RocketShot goal plus speed radar machine. Every child within the school will then have three shots in the goal to record their fastest shot. As an incentive all children taking part will win a range of awards and prizes including certificates, sports equipment and Barrow AFC tickets.
