Free coaching sessions
InsideOut Soccer Schools would welcome the opportunity to come along to your school and provide a free coaching session. The session will enable children to learn new tricks and skills using our innovative coaching techniques including the use of video, music and Futsal (a specially designed football).
In addition teachers will hopefully pick up a few ideas about how they might deliver activities in the future. Sessions can be arranged to take place during or after school hours and for any age group or ability levels within the school.
Extended schools/Afterschools coaching
'Choice for parents, the best start for children' sets out the Governments proposals to provide out of school activities for all children by 2010. Research shows that children who take part in activities outside school are often more motivated and achieve better results at school. Our afterschool coaching courses provide children with an opportunity to take part in a healthy and fun activity at the end of the school day. Courses usually take place for one afternoon a week during the school term and each session lasts for one hour. The cost of each course is £3.00 per child per week which is paid for by parents or carers of children wishing to attend. We will take care of all bookings and payments administration.
Specially designed programmes As well as providing active coaching sessions we are also able to provide a range of other services which compliment the work of the school. Ideas might include;
- Learning through football - coaching sessions can be linked with literacy or numeracy projects which might include, writing a football story or finding the location of countries taking part in the World Cup!
- Healthy options - classroom discussions around issues such as exercise, diet, fitness or drug awareness followed by a coaching session with children
- School talks - providing children with an insight into what it is like to be a professional footballer or how they might become involved in coaching as a career
